Georgia Trauma Skills Procedure Labs- Multiple Locations and Dates

The Georgia Trauma Commission and the Georgia EMS Association is offering a Georgia Trauma Skills Procedure Lab in Georgia with two available sessions each day. The sessions have been approved by Georgia’s Office of EMS & Trauma for 4 hours of CEU’s.

Each Lab session will be the same lab for both AM and PM. There will be 5 to 7 rotating lab skill stations per session offering the following education: Direct/Video Laryngoscopy; EZ-IO; NIO; Chest Needle Decompression & Anatomy; Difficult Airway Simulation; and Bleeding Control & Wound Packing Simulation

FY2020 Regional System Improvement Grant

The Georgia Trauma Care Network Commission approved the FY2020 proposed budget of $ 264,247.00 for Regional System Improvement Grants. Every Regional Trauma Advisory Council is eligible to apply for the grant. Please have completed applications and proposal with budget information submitted by January 2, 2020.

Moulage Victim Training- Region IX

Hello Georgia Coalitions,
Are you preparing for a Full Scale Exercise? Would you like to learn how to moulage victims for an exercise? Region J has reached out to Leah Hoffacker from the State, to provide a class on moulaging victims on Aug 9 from 9:00 – 12:00 PM at the Public Health District Office at 420 Mall Blvd, Savannah (Susan Malone’s Office).
