REMINDER: August 2011 EMS Subcommittee on Trauma meeting TIME and VENUE (NEW MEETING TIME)
Summary:
The August 2011 meeting of the EMS Subcommittee on Trauma will be in Atlanta, Georgia on Tuesday, 09 August 2011 and at the Atlanta Medical Center, Letton Auditorium.
This meeting is scheduled from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.
The Letton Auditorium is located on the ground floor of the Health Pavilion and is directly across the street from the Medical Center at 320 Parkway Drive, N.E.
Peter Lazar and Dr. Jim Broselow will be present to begin our rollout of the eBroselow “Georgia EMS Artemis Safedose” iPhone, Android and Blackberry app to all EMS medics in Georgia. This mobile app will be free of charge to all EMS in Georgia. This is a major milestone in our with eBroselow in Georgia and we encourage all EMS Subcommittee members to attend this meeting.

The June 2011 meeting of the EMS Subcommittee on Trauma will be in Macon, Georgia on Tuesday, 07 June 2011 and at the Mid Georgia Ambulance Training Room, 252 Holt Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31201
This meeting is scheduled from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon.
Among other agenda items, there will be an update with Q & A regarding the Georgia Trauma Communications Center and discussion on the Trauma Commission-directed FY 2012 EMS funding.

The May 2011 meeting of the EMS Subcommittee on Trauma will be in Atlanta, Georgia on Tuesday, 10 May 2011 and at the Atlanta Medical Center, Letton Auditorium.

Dr. Eva Lee will be presenting her work for the Trauma Commission as a result of the Commission’s first-year membership in the Center for Health Organization Transformation (CHOT).
Dr. Lee is the Director, Center for Operations Research in Medicine and HealthCare; Co-Director, NSF I/UCRC Center for Health Organization Transformation; Senior Health Systems Professor, US Department of Veterans Affairs Professor, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology.
