  • Commission-directed EMS Vehicle Equipment Replacement grant program ends

    Today during a Georgia Trauma Commission conference call meeting, the Trauma Commission voted to end the EMS Vehicle Equipment Replacement Grant program effective immediately.  There will be no ambulance replacement grants awarded in FY 2013. 

    The following is the motion that passed:; “…make the motion that the Trauma Commission ends the replacement grant program now and in the future…..recommend the FY 2013 funds earmarked for this grant program, about $722,000 be reallocated to fund other Commission-directed EMS stakeholder programs.”

    Summary:

    The 21 March 2013 Georgia Trauma Commission meeting via conference call has been cancelled.

    All planned agenda items scheduled for discussion during this conference call meeting will be addressed at the 16 May 2013 regular Trauma Commission meeting. 

    The next meeting of the Georgia Trauma Commission will be Thursday, 16 May 2013 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm in the Letton Auditorium of the Atlanta Medical Center, Atlanta, Georgia.
